Two Portland, Ore.-based private equity firms, Obsidian Finance Group LLC and The Campbell Group LLC, could bump up their offer for $1.3 billion market cap timber products company Longview Fibre Co., which that company has rejected twice. Their $26-per-share bid became public on March 6.
