The majority owners of publicly held Inland Resources Inc. want to exit their investment and are putting the company and its Uinta Basin Monument Butte Field, an oil property in Utah, up for sale. On Jan. 9, the Denver-based oil-and-gas microcap said it had hired Lehman Brothers and Petroleum Place Energy Advisors to look at alternatives, including a sale of the $5 million market cap company.
