Tax and advisory firm KPMG has acquired business and technology consulting firm Zanett Commercial Solutions in an effort to deliver better health care technology services.

Cincinnati-based Zanett provides business intelligence and analytics for health care companies, public sector groups, information technology workers, human resources departments and job seekers. The company provides Oracle with technology services as well.

New York-based KPMG expects the deal to allow it to broaden its technology services for its health care, state and manufacturing clients, among others. The company has already picked up a few other Oracle services providers, including Optimum Solutions in October 2011, and the Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning practice of the Hackett Group in March 2013.

The company also bought Cynergy Systems Inc. in February to provide services that allow businesses to use digital and mobile technology to engage customers. In May, the firm picked up most of the assets of restructuring firm BBK for an undisclosed amount.
