Katy Industries, Inc. has engaged Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette to explore alternatives for its electrical business, including a possible sale. Katy’s electrical business, with a book value of $57 mil-lion, not including $20 million written off as discontinued operations, could sell for about $70 million, said Michael Shonstrom, an analyst at Neidiger Tucker Bruner.
