Microcap Interlinq Software Corp. has retained U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray to assist the company with evaluating alternatives. The news was announced in conjunction with less-than-$20 million market cap Interlinq publicizing that it expected to post weak first quarter numbers. The Street’s reaction, therefore, was tempered by the bad financials revelation. Last Wednesday, the trading session after Interlinq issued its Tuesday night news, the stock closed at $3.06 per share, down 18%, or 69 cents. At press time, Interlinq traded at $3.38 per share.
