Though pancake maker IHOP Corp. plans to alter its operational strategy, the $500 million market cap restaurant operator apparently does not have divestitures in mind. Via a teleconference last month, Julia Stewart, the chief executive officer of Glendale, Calif.-based IHOP, said the company will transition its existing business model, which focuses on building and developing restaurants, to a traditional franchise model.
