Houlihan, Lokey, Howard & Zukin has tapped Justin Abelow as a senior VP in the firm’s New York financial advisory group. Abelow reports to Kevin Collins, head of Houlihan’s financial advisory practice in New York. Abelow participates in valuing businesses and entire companies and writing fairness opinions for companies involved in mergers and going-private transactions. In all, the group performs approximately 1,000 company valuation assignments each year, he pointed out. Abelow declined to discuss Houlihan’s current valuation mandates.
