Next week I’m heading down to the ACG Atlanta conference, where I’m looking forward to hearing the keynote address by Bernard Marcus, the founder of Home Depot. There’s been so much talk about the retail giant lately, it seems as if the news was timed perfectly to coincide with the event. Even before the resignation of Home Depot’s CEO Bob Nardelli, there was talk about Home Depot being a potential buyout target, which I’ll get to below.
