HGGC has made its first add-on acquisition to Survey Sampling International LLC (SSI) after buying the data and technology business in December. The deal comes the same day as the Palo Alto, California, private equity firm announced its exit of Citadel Plastics.
The firm is buying MRops, which provides market research to management consulting firms and market-research agencies. MRops business will be integrated with SSI. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The firm announced it was buying SSI in November, and the deal closed in December. The deal expands SSI's position in the Asia Pacific region, and adds an operations hub in Hyderabad, India.
