Hewlett-Packard Co.’s (HP) negotiations with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) about acquiring the Big Five accounting firm’s consulting arm are continuing, and HP is satisified with the progress. So said HP Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Carly Fiorina, speaking this afternoon in New York at Prudential Volpe’s annual technology and telecommunications conference. Palo Alto, Calif.-based HP, on Sept. 11, confirmed it was holding discusions with PWC about possibly purchasing the firms’s global consulting business.
