Harcourt General could receive as much as $67 a share in a sale, according to one arb who piled into the stock last week. The company retained Goldman Sachs last week to explore strategic alternatives. The Street jumped on Harcourt’s bandwagon following the June 19 news, as its stock price catapulted from its Friday close nearly 30% to finish trading at $54.81. At press time, the stock finished trading at $56.31.
