Casino gaming company Elray Resources Inc. is following a deal announced earlier in September with the purchase of

Lottery Domain, which was formed in February 2010, is a reseller of the Oz Lotteries System, which is an online agent for the NSW Lotteries lottery. NSW Lotteries is run by Tatts Group Ltd., an Australian company. NSW Lotteries products include Lotto Strike, Lucky Lotteries, Oz Lotto and Powerball.

Elray plans to build the business to add more lottery products, plus enable the sale of lottery tickets through smartphones, tablets and computers. The buyer says that the lottery market is expected to continue growing rapidly. Elray is issuing preferred Series C stock with a restriction on conversion to make the acquisition.

New York-based Elray announced on Sept. 23 that it was buying at least part of an online casino called Golden Galaxy, which offers casino games online. Other recent gaming deals include Eldorado Resorts Inc.'s (Nasdaq: ERI) merger with MTR Gaming Group Inc., giving the combined company six casinos. Before that, in August, Scientific Games Corp. picked up gaming equipment maker Bally Technologies Inc. for about $3.3 billion.
