James Zenni, former president and co-owner of Black Capital Management, has formed Z Capital Partners, a privately-help alternative asset management firm based in Lake Forest, Ill. The new firm will establish a hedge fund to be seeded with Zenni’s personal capital. The hedge fund will focus primarily on opportunties in the non-investment grade senior secured debt markets.
