Online photo storing company Forever Inc. has acquired Panstoria Inc.

Panstoria, headquartered in Ohio, is a digital scrapbooking and photo organizing company. The company previously sold software under the Creative Memories brand name. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Pittsburgh-based Forever says the deal will help it better serve its customers. The company has raised $17.6 million in venture capital.

The deal comes a few months after Shutterfly Inc., which provides a service that turns digital photos into printed albums and other products, reportedly hired Qatalyst to seek buyers for the site.  Before that news, the company had acquired MyPublisher, which develops photo book software, This Life, which is a cloud-based photo and video service, and Penguin Digital, which developed a mobile application that allows users to make photo-based merchandise.
