Tab Products Co. is looking for a buyer-in six months. The moveable file cabinet maker is in the midst of a proxy fight with hostile bidder Thaddeus Jaroszewicz, who wants to put the company up for sale. So, in an Oct. 4 press release, Tab promised its shareholders it would auction the company, but not until Feb. 28, the end of its fiscal 2002 third quarter.
