Sources said the company’s spell could be over if no buyer emerges. “They are going to have a very difficult time selling the company. If they don’t, that’s it,” said a high yield analyst who requested anonymity. “At the end of the day, they’re probably going to slice and dice the company,” he added. “They have some stores that will definitely attract other players and others that will never get touched,” he said.
