As far as new head of the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Competition, Molly Boast, is concerned, don’t expect a change in the way things are done, even with the arrival of a new administration in Washington. Boast took over the position from Richard Parker last week, moving up from senior deputy director, a post she had held since July 1999. She took time out from her new responsibilities last Thursday-“It’s a big job,” she says-to interview with Mergers & Acquisitions Report about trends in antitrust enforcement and the effects of the new presidential administration.
