Exos,which previously did business as Athlete's Performance Inc., has closed a deal for MediFit, a provider of fitness and wellness center services.

MediFit, headquartered in Forham Park, New Jersey, develops corporate, community and residential fitness centers and fitness programs in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Exos, headquartered in Phoenix, will incorporate MedFit into the company to provide fitness services to people in more than 300 locations.

Other recent fitness deals include Running Specialty Group's acquisition of Run Colorado, a group of specialty running shops, and Silver Oak Services Partners investment in gym chain Vasa Fitness LLC.
