The investment bank hired David Platt as a managing director in its M&A group for the Americas. Platt will focus on M&A activity for middle-market financial sponsors and corporate clients. He comes aboard from Bank of America, where he was also an M&A group managing director. Earlier in his career, he was an M&A managing director at Citigroup and worked at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Fidelity Investments.
