CTN Media Group Inc., having said it has received inquiries from numerous sources interested in acquiring the firm, has decided to explore the possibility of an auction or partnership. Atlanta-based, $90 million market cap CTN hired Merrill Lynch to filter the interest. The firm owns several young-adult affiliated media products, such as College Television Network, a smattering of Websites and magazines and an advertising agency. College Television Network has an estimated daily audience of 1.5 million on campuses across the country.
