Coupons.com Inc. has acquired KitchMe, a San Francisco-based startup that designed an application for meal planning and savings.

The application provides users with meal planning, recipes, savings and shopping list capabilities. The service was announced and launched March 25.

KitchMe lets users drag and drop meals on to a calendar and shows which ingredients are on sale.

Mountain View, Calif.-based Coupons.com provides digital coupons, including online printable coupons and digital coupons. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The deal follows acquisitions of several other applications, including Dropbox’s purchase of Mailbox, Go Daddy’s acquisition of M.dot and Oil Price Information Services deal for GasBuddy.
