Minority shareholders of Cone Mills Corp. are jockeying to buy the com-pany, but analyst opinion remained split on whether the effort was for real. Shares in $160 million market cap Cone jumped 81 cents, or 12%, to $6.69 last Tuesday in response to a 13D filing by an investment group shepherded by Summit Capital Appreciation Fund and Marc Kozberg, portfolio manager at Dougherty Summit Securities LLC, an affiliate of Dougherty Financial, Inc.
