Private equity-backed Comark LLC has acquired Nematron Corp.

Nematron, headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan, manufactures computer and visualization services for the industrial automation industry.

Medfield, Massachusetts-based Comark makes industrial displays, computers, workstations and kiosks that are used to control manufacturing processes or for other uses.  The company says that buying Nematron will broaden its product line and distribution channels. Comark plans to absorb Nematron's business. 

Private equity firm JMC Capital Partners, headquartered in Boston, backs Comark. The firm’s other portfolio companies include Aqualine Resources Inc., CBL Systems LLC and Deltron LLC.
