Determined to become a pure-play specialty packaging business, Chesapeake Corp. has announced plans to sell four of its money losing units. The auction process is underway for Chesapeake’s temporary and permanent point-of-purchase display, as well as the corrugated containers, divisions. The historically high-sales, low-margin, units have been losing money in the last year and Street sources liked the fact that Chesapeake is ditching them.
