Elior SCA is buying TrustHouse Services Group from private equity firm Gryphon Investors.
TrustHouse, based in Charlotte, N.C., is a contract food service provider in the U.S. that focuses on the health care, education and corrections sectors. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The deal is expected to close early in the second quarter.
Elior, headquartered in Paris, provides contract and concessions catering.
During Gryphon’s ownership, the company expanded services from 22 to 45 states through three acquisitions and organic growth. The San Francisco-based firm invests between $35 million and $100 million in middle-market companies.
