The $710 million Cambridge Retirement System has issued an RFP for a private equity investment manager to oversee approximately $10 million in a fund-of-funds account. According to the Massachusetts Public Employees’ Retirement Administration Commission’s (PERAC) Web site, Cambridge’s asset allocation consists of 52% domestic equity, 11% international equity, 28% fixed-income, 7% real estate, 1% cash and 1% alternative investments.PERAC’s site also indicates that Cambridge’s alternative investment manager roster includes Ascent Venture Partners, Charles River Partnership and Merrill Lynch. The deadline for proposal submissions is May 30.
