Bureau Veritas is buying Quiktrak, which provides inspection services.

Quiktrak, headquartered in Beaverton, Ore., provides due diligence field services, including field inspection and asset verification, as well as floor plan inventory auditing and technology services. The acquisition should allow Quiktrak to expand its services to some of the 140 countries in which Bureau Veritas operates.

"In addition to our growth in North America, our strategy has always been to grow internationally as a result of client demand. After a year of strong growth, we are ready for the next step," says Greg Froomer, Quiktrak CEO.

Paris-based Bureau Veritas provides laboratory testing, inspection and certification services. The company will add Quiktrak's RevoquestTM software, which automates auditing and inventory management, through the deal. "The integration of Quiktrak represents another step in our expansion in North America, and strengthens our specialized vehicle inspection offering," says Bureau Veritas CEO Didier Michaud-Daniel.
