Christian book publisher Thomas Nelson Inc. (TNI), has retained UBS Warburg to help it explore strategic options, including a sale, for one of its units. Nashville, Tenn.-based, TNI, which competes against fellow Bible publishers Zonderman Publishing House and Tyndale House Publishers Inc., publishes Christian-oriented books and other products. The $100 million market cap company is looking at options for its C.R. Gibson division. Via Gibson, TNI produces wedding, baby and photo albums, in addition to a stationery line, Creative Papers.
