Arsenal Capital Partners-backed Royal Adhesives & Sealants LLC has closed a deal for Advanced Polymers International from PCI Paper Conversions Inc.

Advanced Polymers, headquartered in Syracuse, New York, manufactures microsphere-based adhesives that are used for coatings, such as removable labels and wall graphics.

South Bend, Indiana-based Royal Adhesives, which makes adhesives, sealants, coatings and polymers, has made many acquisitions under CEO Ted Clark. The company's most recent deals include Chemque in September,  and Adco Global Inc. in July 2013. For more on the company's acquisition strategy, see our video interview with Clark. 

Royal Adhesives has been backed by Arsenal since 2010. The New York-based private equity firm invests in middle market health care and industrial businesses. The firm's recent investments include Zeus Tyrefill Systems GmbH, and Insight High Technology Group.
