Accella Performance Materials Inc. has purchased RTH Processing Inc. and RDT Manufacturing LLC  to form  a new company, Ultimate RB Inc. Accella is backed by private equity firm Arsenal Capital Partners, which was featured in Mergers & Acquisitions May cover story, "Capital Commitments: 5 Winning Fundraising Strategies." RTH produces colored granules used for playground surfacing, running tracks and other rubber products RDT makes rolled rubber products, including athletic flooring, commercial flooring, acoustical underlayment and load-containment matting. The companies are affiliated and both operate out of a Delphos, Ohio manufacturing facility.

St. Louis, Missouri-based Accella, formerly Dash Multi-Corp. Inc., manufacture polyurethane systems, vinyl plastics and recycled rubber materials. The acquisitions will allow Accella to make custom playground and running-track surfacing products.

Under Arsenal's ownership, the company previously acquired Pathway Polymersin May 2013, and Arnco, a polyurethane product manufacturer.
