Catskill Development LLC plans to hire an investment bank to look at strategic alternatives for its majority stake in Monticello Raceway Inc., a horse racing track. Privately held Catskill, along with $10 million market cap Alpha Hospitality Corp., owns Monticello, and both companies develop and operate casinos. In an Aug. 29 release, Alpha announced that it had been notified by Catskill that it would engage an investment bank to explore options for Monticello, a harness racetrack in the New York town of the same name.
