American Midstream Partners LP (NYSE: AMID) is buying a natural gas gathering system for $100 million.

The system includes gathering and redelivery, and is located in the Eagle Ford shale play in Texas.

In December, an affiliate of American Midstream’s general partner entered into a purchase agreement with a subsidiary of Penn Virginia Corp. (NYSE: PVA) for the gathering and redelivery system. American Midstream plans to buy the affiliate of its general partner to execute the deal.

Denver-based American Midstream owns and operates midstream energy assets. In December, the company closed a $65 million deal for Blackwater Midstream Holdings LLC, which operates storage terminals.

Other recent energy deals include CorEnergy Infrastructure Trust Inc.’s (NYSE: CORR) January purchase of a petroleum products facility, and IronGate Energy Services’ acquisition of Green Light Energy Services, which provides rental services to oil and gas companies.
