On May 8, McCormick started in a new position at fast-expanding, Irvine, Calif.-based Allen Matkins Leck Gamble & Mallory. The firm, whose client base and reputation was built in real estate deals, has decided to leap headlong into hi-tech opportunities: it has hired 12 new lawyers in the last four weeks.
