AHL Services Inc. plans to shed its European staffing business, and one analyst said he does not expect the company to have a difficult time selling the unit. Atlanta-based AHL provides marketing services in the U.S. and specialized staffing services in Europe. However, Edwin Mellet, the chief executive officer of AHL said, in a statement, the company would focus on its marketing business and “divest our specialized staffing services that we operate in Germany and the United Kingdom.” AHL would use the proceeds from the sale to reduce debt and expand its marketing business, he added.
