ACG San Francisco held its third successful West Coast Private Equity Conference and Capital Connection at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco on February 16. About 600 attendees from across the country took part and gave rave reviews for all aspects of the event. Keynote speaker, Scott Adams, creator of the popular comic strip “Dilbert,” and several other speakers and panelists drew high marks from all participants. The ACG Capital Connection created a lively networking stage connecting the owners of successful companies with 55 private equity firms. Collectively, the buyout firms attending the conference represent more than $25 billion of capital and own more than 500 mid-market companies. Back by popular demand, ACG San Francisco featured a wine tasting at the event. Four local wineries-Grgich Hills, Alexander Valley, Trefethen, and Honig- poured some of their best selections.
