Mergers & Acquisitions names 2021 Top 25 Most Influential Women in Mid-Market M&A, including Blue Wolf Capital Partners’ Alice Mann.

How are you advancing the state of women?
As a firm focused on environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles, part of the S in ESG is this element of diversity, and one of the things I am most proud of is that we rank above the industry average in terms of the number of female CEOs in our portfolio. Beyond working with executive recruiters to identify strong female and minority candidates for roles across our companies, I am also focused on our own internal efforts at Blue Wolf, examining how we recruit and retain women and minorities on investment teams in private equity.

How are you a champion for inclusion and equality?
Since we had developed this people and culture chief human resources officer (CHRO) working group across our portfolio, I have developed extremely strong relationships with all of our CHROs and, during Covid, my role was prioritizing serving as a trusted resource any time they needed counsel. This past year, we also launched a diversity, equity and inclusion committee that I co-lead along with my one of my colleagues. We work internally and across our portfolio companies and boards, and this is something I am looking forward to continuing to build up in 2021.

Describe a recent accomplishment.
I worked closely with our SHE (safety, health, environment) committee and our people and culture working group across the portfolio to translate the regulations and safety requirements for our companies. We leveraged experience from our portfolio leaders, such as the CEO of ModernMD, so they could share their experiences in the trenches.
