Wipro Limited (NYSE: WIT), a global information technology, consulting and business process services provider, has acquired Edgile, a cybersecurity consulting provider.
Edgile focuses on risk and compliance, information and cloud security and digital identity services. The firm’s strategy first approach and Quick Start services will enable to combined firm to deliver value in strategic cybersecurity services.
The combined firm will develop the Wipro CyberTransform suite to help customers enhance boardroom governance of cybersecurity risk, invest in cyber strategies and reap value of security in action. Previous minority investor, Abry Partners, will exit its investment in Edgile.
