Private equity firm Willis & Smith Capital has purchased manufacturing company R&B Grinding. R&B’s industrial customers for machined components include Fortune 500 original equipment manufacturers. The firm remains a community pillar, employing over 100 members on its multi-acre manufacturing campus.

Gene Simon, Willis & Smith Capital’s operating partner, will serve as chief executive officer, while key members of the senior management team will continue managing R&B’s various operating divisions.
