Triller, a global AI-powered short-video app, through its parent company TrillerNet has purchased Thuzio, a B2B premium influencer events and experiences company.
Following the deal, Triller will look to leverage Thuzio’s live event offerings and deep reach into the worlds of sports, culture and business. Thuzio will join other live event assets owned by the TrillerNet portfolio including Verzuz and Triller Fight Night Club.
Thuzio was founded in 2012 by former NY Giant Tiki Barber and entrepreneurs Mark Gerson and Jared Ausgustine who will all remain with the company. The firm provides businesses with access to figures in sports, entertainment and business through events and interviews.
“Triller is the perfect place to continue our triple digit growth, and we are excited at the potential to leverage Triller’s influencers and fans to diversify our base and attract a whole new range and category of consumer-facing brands,” added Jared Augustine.
