Summit Partners, a global investment firm, and Peugeot Invest, a French-based investment company, have made a majority growth investment in Doctrine, a provider of legal intelligence services.

Doctrine was founded in 2016 looking to innovate legal search and apply artificial intelligence to legal data. The company’s legal intelligence platform is designed to help legal professionals conduct more accurate and efficient searches and save time, limit errors and focus on other tasks. Doctrine serves more than 11,000 clients.

“We are focused on continuing to apply this approach as we develop innovative solutions that support legal professionals in France and around the world,” comments Guillaume Carrère, CEO of Doctrine. “We believe Summit Partners’ experience will allow us to continue our development and build a leader in legal technology.”
