Silver Creek Capital Management, a boutique alternative investment manager, has hired Brendan Connor, former executive director and a strategy head within the absolute return strategies group at GCM Grosvenor, has joined the firm as a Managing Director. In this role, Mr. Connor will serve as a portfolio manager for select Silver Creek hedge fund strategies and build upon the firm’s longstanding history of managing a diversified portfolio of long-term alpha generators irrespective of market conditions. Based in Seattle, Mr. Connor reports to Art Zaske, Silver Creek’s Deputy Chief Investment Officer.

Connor spent the last five years at GCM Grosvenor, where he most recently oversaw the firm’s relative value, macro, and quantitative investment strategies. Previously, he was a Managing Director at multi-family investment manager Hillview Capital Advisors, where he led the team’s multi-asset class research and due diligence efforts.
