ServiceNow, a digital workflow company, has agreed to acquire artificial intelligence-powered platform G2K.

Founded by Karsten Neugebauer and Omar El Gohary in 2013, G2K employs over 200 employees across Berlin, Cairo, Dubai and Mexico, and is headquartered in Munich, Germany. G2K’s technology works to help organizations connect data across storefronts and other spaces for a view of operational data. ServiceNow plans to add G2K’s IoT (Internet of things) technology to the Now platform, helping businesses to action digital and in-store data with workflows.

“This acquisition allows ServiceNow to create even greater simplicity and efficiency for our customers’ growing needs across any industry, from manufacturing and supply chain to transportation and entertainment,” says Karel van der Poel, senior vice president and general manager at ServiceNow.

Tidal Partners LLC acted as financial advisor to ServiceNow on the transaction and Baker McKenzie LLP served as legal counsel.
