Quickparts, a provider of manufacturing services and a portfolio company of Trilantic North America, has bought Xcentric Mold & Engineering, a provider of digital manufacturing.

Xcentric provides digital injection molding and computer numerical control (CNC) services from prototyping to product creation stages. The deal looks to expand Quickparts’ footprint and capabilities to deliver these and other services to a wider range of customers globally.

“We are very pleased to welcome the Xcentric team to the Quickparts family,” comments Ziad Abou, chief executive officer of Quickparts. “As a combined company, we will offer an in-house, end-to-end solution from first prototype to short-run production. This acquisition is an important step as we continuously strive to advance Quickparts’ capabilities. With Xcentric, we will be able to offer a complete lifecycle solution that will be executed with even greater speed and certainty.”

Stifel acted as financial advisor to Xcentric and Kirkland & Ellis LLP acted as legal advisor to Quickparts in this transaction.
