RMA Companies, an OceanSound Partners-backed provider of laboratory testing, inspection and quality management services for public and private infrastructure assets across government and commercial end markets, has acquired C Below Inc. (doing business as C Below Subsurface Imaging), an underground utility locating services company.
Founded in 2009, C Below offers utility locating and mapping services for public agencies, engineers, architects and contractors in infrastructure projects across several end-markets. Its engineers and technicians use equipment to offer geophysical capabilities including vacuum excavation, electromagnetic location, ground penetrating radar, building information modeling (BIM) mapping and CCTV pipeline inspection. As part of the transaction, C Below’s operations will be merged with RMA’s SiteScan Subsurface Imaging business under the leadership of Chris Loera, C Below’s CEO.
