Mubadala Investment Company has made a minority investment in Power Factors, joining existing investor Vista Equity Partners to support the company’s growth and expansion in renewable energy management.
The investment will drive development of Power Factors’ Unity Renewable Energy Management Suite, particularly its AI-driven Unity REMI intelligence platform, while also funding expansion of its monitoring and control capabilities amid growing demand from utility-scale storage and hybrid energy systems.
Headquartered in the United States, Power Factors provides integrated software, services and hardware services for renewable energy operators. The company serves more than 600 customers across over 18,000 sites in 70+ countries and supports approximately 310 gigawatts of solar, wind and energy storage assets.
