Huron Capital, a middle-market private equity firm, has hired Nolan Monforton and Paul Winkler as senior associates and Joe Edwards as an analyst.

The hires are intended to provide additional support to the firm’s investment team as it looks to build on the momentum gained in 2021. Going forward, the new hires will be tasked with evaluating and analyzing firm investments while working alongside the firm’s private equity team members.

Before joining Huron, Monoforton served as a vice president with Angle Advisors and concentrated on deal execution and deal strategy for sell and buy-side engagements within industrials and distribution. Winkler joins the firm following his time as a vice president with Rock Island Capital where he worked on deal structuring, due diligence, underwriting, portfolio management, financial reporting, and valuation. Lastly, prior to joining Huron, Edwards worked as an associate with Ernst & Young within the firm’s strategy and transitions practice where he worked with clients advising on various M&A transactions.

“Coming on the heels of our most successful year ever, we are excited for Nolan, Paul and Joe to join the growing Huron family,” said James Mahoney, managing partner at Huron. “We are extremely fortunate to have a strong, experienced roster of talent with the vision and ability to drive continued achievements for the firm.”
