Daida, a provider of business process outsourcing, document management, digital workflow and enterprise content management services nationwide and backed by HiGro Group, acquired Scan-Optics as its sixth add-on acquisition under HiGro ownership and its second acquisition completed in 2026.

The transaction expands Daida’s presence across the Northeast, adds production capacity and strengthens its capabilities serving government and other highly regulated industries. Founded in 1968 and headquartered in Manchester, Conn., Scan-Optics provides intelligent document processing, managed capture services, and digital transformation services. The company serves state and local governments, municipalities, housing authorities, higher education institutions, financial services organizations, insurance providers, and other regulated-industry clients. Scan-Optics operates a secure 32,000-square-foot production facility capable of digitizing up to four million pages per day and maintains SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance as well as CJIS certification.

The acquisition was financed through a combination of cash on hand and debt provided by Lafayette SquareMilgrom served as legal advisor to Daida, Scale advised Scan-Optics, Polsinelli advised Lafayette Square, and Province served as advisor to the seller.
