SuperHero Fire Protection, a fire and life safety services provider backed by Hidden Harbor Capital Partners, has acquired Strategic Connections, a North Carolina-based provider of fire protection and low-voltage system services.
The deal expands SuperHero’s footprint in the Carolinas, particularly by growing its recurring service and inspection revenue and adding low-voltage offerings such as structured cabling and audiovisual systems. Founded in 1998 and led by CEO Scott McLaughlin, Strategic Connections will continue operating under its current leadership, with McLaughlin remaining an active owner of the business.
TM Capital advised Hidden Harbor Capital Partners on the buy side, with legal counsel from Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP. Strategic Connections was represented by Capital City Group as financial advisor and Manning, Fulton & Skinner PA as legal counsel.
