E2open Parent Holdings Inc., has acquired Logistyx Technologies, a shipping software firm, from Kidd & Co. and Firmament.

Logistyx Technologies provides a cloud-based service with business intelligence and a carrier library of more than 550 carriers. The firm is a provider of multi-carrier parcel shipping services. E2open is a B2B provider of cloud-based software for supply chains for computers, components, and services.

Kidd & Co. is the private equity arm of the Kidd Family Office and develops thesis-driven investment strategies in the lower middle market and invests its capital in these strategies. Firmament provides structured equity capital services to small- and medium-sized enterprises.

Gerry DeBias, a partner at Kidd & Company, said ”We started with a thesis in 2015, formed Logistyx in 2017, executed our plan for the past five years and now ‘pass the torch’ to E2open. From our first meeting with the E2open team, it was clear that they would be an excellent strategic acquirer for Logistyx, as they had a similar vision of the market opportunity and how Logistyx could add value to the E2open portfolio.”
