D.A. Davidson & Co., a financial services firm offering a range of financial services and advice to individuals, corporations, institutions and municipalities, has hired Liam Healy as head of institutional equities in the firm’s equity capital markets group.
Based in Chicago, Healy will oversee research, sales and trading, corporate access, corporate services and the Davidson Expert Network. He has over 30 years of institutional equity experience on Wall Street, including most recently at William Blair & Co., where he was a partner and led the New York institutional equity sales group. Prior to his 20 years at William Blair, Healy worked at JPMorgan, First Union Securities, Chicago Corp./ABN-AMRO and Mesirow Financial.
“Liam’s deep background, his strength of relationships, and ability to recruit and retain talent, coupled with a relentless work ethic, make him a great fit for our team and our future business goals,” states Rory McKinney, president of equity capital markets at D.A. Davidson. “Under his direction, we will develop processes that significantly grow our equities revenues and further monetize research, corporate access, and other advisory relationships.”
